3D Printer And A Mysterious Problem with it's Solution

3D Printers

Nowadays, Printers prints only text and images on paper in 2 dimensions. But around us, there are also 3D printers that can print models and objects in 3 dimensions. It can be defined as A 3D printer is a printer that prints objects in 3 dimensions.

It is a process of making 3-dimensional solid objects from a digital file that was designed in software (described below). This printing makes thin layers of filament with the help of the axis given by the software model in the printer and fuses them together into a final object.

How does 3D Printer work?

3D printing is part of additive printing that prints digital objects into physical models. The digital program is created in different software (described below) and then transferred to 3D printers through USB or anything else. 3D printers divide the whole program into tiny parts and use additive processes to print.

Additive printing is a process of printing thin layers of filament (plastic, metal, cement) layer by layer using information given through a digital program and fusing them together at the end to create a final 3D model. Additive printing allows users to create complex objects in a standard time.

Software used to create digital programs are

1. Tinker for Beginners

2. Design spark for Intermediate

3. Fusion 360 For Experts

Some others are Onshape, Solid Edge, blender, Ultimaker Cura, Mesh Mixer, and Mesh Lab.

Types of 3D Printers

There are 6 types of 3d printers that print using different filaments and methods which are

Stereolithography (SLA)

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)

Digital Light Processing (DLP)

Selective Laser Melting (SLM)

Electron Beam Melting (EMB)

Working Examples of 3D Printer

Some of the working examples of 3D printers are listed below

1. Bones and Muscles of Animals

At the Wake Forest Institute for Regeneration Medicine, researchers have been able to print bones, muscles, and ears - a process known as bio-printing -  and implant them successfully into animals. What's really exciting is the printed tissue survived after being planted and become functional tissue.

2. Pastries

Ukrainian architect-turned-pastry-chef Dinara Kasko has made a name for herself on Instagram by posting pictures of her striking geometric 3d printed pastries. And Kasko isn't the only one printing food.

Enough talking about 3D printers let's identify any problem and talk about its Solutions

Identify a Problem

When it comes to privacy everyone becomes super selfish. But keeping your data safe from big social companies like FaceBook and WhatsApp looks impossible nowadays. So, here we are developing Web 3.0 using blockchain technology to provide safety to everyone's data.

Problem Statement

There is a big problem of privacy in this era of the internet that we ignore or we know but can't do anything with it. As we allow every app we installed on our mobile to access our data, location, storage, and much more.

There are many social media platforms like Facebook, Whatsapp, and other big apps that use our personal data on daily basis. These companies had cases of privacy theft like Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg's data selling scam and WhatsApp privacy systems data leak. So, how can we rely on them? The personal data of everyone nowadays is controlled and used by these big brands.

Possible Solutions

To overcome this problem we are creating web 3.0 using blockchain technology where every person had an identity and the system is totally decentralized so there was no rule of one instead of distributing the power in all. Also, it is impossible to hack the blockchain. How?

Also meanwhile, we can create any application that allows users to check which application or service is using its data. Or the lazy way to overcome this problem was a boycott of social media which seems impossible because social media becomes a basic need for every person on this planet.

Solution / Conclusion From Viewers

After hearing the solution from the viewers, it was clear that creating an app that allows users to check its data spying is the best option to implement this problem.

However, My opinion is also the same but it should be our temporary solution. Because again using an app to check your spying depends on a central entity to control your data. To avoid this data access of ours to anyone else we must shift towards web 3.0 because of its blockchain technology which enables you to be your own boss instead of being controlled by any other company or central entity.
